DOUGLAS AQUATICS: TEAM TRAINING
All employees MUST attend one DA Team Training session before being able to work this summer. These sessions will cover information on customer service, safety, and company policies and procedures. Swimsuits and apparel will be available for purchase at all orientation and team training events. Team Training will begin promptly at 9:30am.

Orientation for NEW staff members and their parents:
This presentation will be a chance for you to learn about the basic policies and procedures for Douglas Aquatics.  New Staff Orientation will begin promptly at 9:00 am. After, Staff members will need to stay for the mandatory Team Training session.

A lunch break will be taken during the middle of training. Please BRING LUNCH - There will NOT be enough time to go off-site to buy lunch.

**IMPORTANT** Please make sure to bring your EMPLOYMENT FOLDER which should include the following: 1). Employment Agreement - signed; 2). W4 Tax Form - filled out and signed; 3). VA-4 Tax Form - filled out and signed; 4). Any documents that were not copied during the Interview (photo ID, Social Security Card or Birth Certificate, Valid Lifeguard and CPR certification Cards)

For staff members who are under 18 years old, all documents need to also be signed by a parent or guardian.

Senior Staff Symposium - Manager and Supervisor Training
All Managers and Asst. Managers will need to attend this MANDATORY session!
We will review payroll procedures, scheduling guidelines, in-service trainings and other policies.

SWIM LESSON INSTRUCTORS:

Interested in teaching swim lessons this summer? (All instructors must be at least 16 years old)

Advantages of Becoming a Douglas Aquatics Instructor:

develop necessary skills and reach goals.)

All swim instructors for 2010 will need to attend one of two training sessions to cover administrative procedures as well as instructor skills.

Scheduling:
Availability needed from all lifeguards!  Your vacations listed on your applications will be used.  When availability surveys are sent out, make sure to fill out and return ASAP to avoid any scheduling conflicts!.
